I'm an artist and graphic designer with a BFA in digital art from Indiana University. I’m currently an intern at South Asia Institute aiding in visual design. As an artist I've worked with 2D and 3D animation, 3D modeling, computer generative imagery, graphite, ink, and watercolor. I have experience using Adobe Creative Suit, TouchDesigner, Maya, Unity, and Blender.

Artist Statement
My work delves into themes of nostalgia, escapism, and the inner psyche of the feminine experience. Through chaotic, abstract, and exaggerated mark-making, I express the consuming intensity of emotions. My practice uses both digital and traditional mediums, using each to express psychological environments.
The expressive lines and monochromatic palette of my watercolor and ink work form the foundation of my art. My work visualizes anxiety, guilt, and repression through clustered lines and empty spaces, inspired by both psychotherapy and spirituality. I connect to these mediums deeply. The loose nature of these mediums embody the flowing nature of emotions, which I seek to reveal in my work. These traditional techniques influence my digital creations, where I craft immersive 3D spaces and distort videos and illustrations into abstract forms. Although, I stay rooted in these traditional mediums I create digital art to expand the expressive nature of ink towards movement into digital space, which at times can feel more real than our physical reality.
A central concept in my work is the reflective tension between being and non-being. Influenced by Parmenides' philosophy of, "all is one" and writer Fernando Pessoa's reflections on non-existence, I explore the duality of self and absence to demonstrate the grayness of these opposing concepts towards acceptance, rather then solutions. Through this I follow psychiatrist Carl Jung’s core theory system of embracing all of the human experience, including ones’ shadow.
My artistic practice acknowledges the paradox of feeling everything too intensely yet fearing the emptiness of nothingness. By navigating these tensions, I reclaim the emotional excesses of my identity as a source of strength and insight by creating work that seeks to resonate with the universal search for understanding.
